iTunes Specification

 

The Apple company created a standard RSS specification that considerably increases the podcasting features of RSS.

To create a podcast that will be supported by iTunes (and other RSS readers), you should create an RSS feed (version 2.0 extended with iTunes tags) that would contain pointers to enclosed files (video or audio files).
